Retrofitting parktronic system (PTS) sensors in front bumper - AN54.65-P-0001-01A

  1. Remove impact absorber at front bumper.
  2. Install new impact absorber (10) with mounts for sensors.
  3. Fit ring (12) to parktronic system (PTS) sensors (11).

  4. Insert parktronic system (PTS) sensors (11) from the rear into the mounts of the impact absorber (10).

  5. Run wiring harness of parktronic system (PTS) of front bumper (3) as illustrated inside bumper and plug together connectors (13), beginning on the right.
  6. Insert shock absorber elements (14) into bumper. (The shock absorber elements fix the wiring harness in place.

  7. Take cable to left front connector (X26/27) of parktronic system (PTS) (arrow) out of the shock absorber element (14).
