Test 4: Trunk Lid Lock Switch

  1. Disconnect PSE control module connector, located under rear seat. Measure voltage between positive battery terminal and PSE control module connector No. 1, terminal No. 11. With trunk lid lock switch in rest position, voltage should be less than one volt. With trunk lid lock switch in unlocked position, battery voltage should exist.
  2. Measure voltage between positive battery terminal and PSE control module connector No. 1, terminal No. 12. With trunk lid lock switch in rest position, voltage should be less than one volt. With trunk lid lock switch in unlocked position, battery voltage should exist. If voltage is as specified, trunk lid lock switch is okay at this time. If voltage is not as specified, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check trunk lid lock switch.
