	Removing, installing
	Risk of explosion  from electrolytic gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  with caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect ground cable from battery		AR54.10-P-0003A

2	Remove fuse box cover (1)
3	Unscrew bolts (2)
4	Remove relay box cover (3)	Check gasket (10) for damage and replace if necessary.
5	Unscrew bolt (4)
6	Remove fuse blocks	Carefully remove carrier for fuse blocks (5) upwards.
		Fuse block A, fuses 1 to 9 (A); fuse block B, fuses 10 to 18 (B); fuse block C, fuses 19 to 27 (C); fuse block D, fuses 28 to 36 (model 202) (D); fuse block E, fuses 37 to 38 (E)
7	Disconnect cables from fuse boxes and fuse blocks	Models 202.01/202.02/202.12/202.07/202.08/ 202.18, 208	AR54.15-P-1255-01EB
		Disconnect cables only when replacing the entire fuse and relay box (F1). To guard against misconnecting the disconnected cables to the various fuse boxes and fuse blocks, gather each group of cables into a harness and mark for identification.

8	Remove relay holder carrier (7) together with relay holder (6)	The relay holder (6) is pivot-mounted on the relay holder carrier (7).
9	Unclip connectors on bottom of relay holder (6)
10	Unplug all relays	Model 202 as of 01.06.97: The lamp monitoring unit is integrated into the driver-side signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1).

11	Remove footwell cover	Driver's side
12	Unscrew nuts (8)
13	Remove fuse and relay box (F1)	Check gasket (9) for damage and replace if necessary.
14	Install in the reverse order
