Leave soft top bow and soft top compartment lid in upright position |

Unscrew mounting screws (1) from main bearing |
Previously mark soft top main bearing on mounting plate to facilitate installation. |

Expose hydraulic lines |
If necessary, detach cable strap and electrical lines to prevent lines from damaging. |

Lift soft top until hydraulic cylinder is accessible |

Unclip retaining bolts (7) and pull out |

Open counternut (2) on mounting screw (3). |

Pull out mounting screw (3). |
Plastic washers are inserted in the hydraulic cylinder mounting hole (4). |

Remove hydraulic cylinder (4) from soft top support downward. |
|

Press hydraulic cylinder (4) together |
|
|
| 11 |
Press off retainer (5) and pull out hydraulic line (6). |
Immediately plug hydraulic line (6) with stop plug 
and connector on hydraulic cylinder (4) with blind plug
. |
