Removing and installing level control valve unit - AR32.31-P-0650I: Notes

MODEL 220 except CODE (487) Active Body Control (ABC)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
IMPORTANT Special information on AIRmatic   AH32.22-P-1000-02I 
1 Drain AIRmatic system using Star Diagnosis    
2 Remove compressor   AR32.22-P-2001I 
3 Detach plug from AIRmatic pressure sensor (B7)    
4 Detach valve unit connector (Y36/6x1)    
5 Undo pressure line terminals (1LF, 2RF, 3LR, 4RR, 5CR, P) TORQUE SPECIFICATION
NOTES Observe assignment of pressure lines!
IMPORTANT Seal off pressure lines using blind plugs for the duration of the repair work.
If pressure line or its connection fittings are damaged:↓
*BA32.22-P-1006-03A 
    Repairing AIRmatic pressure line connection AR32.22-P-2001-02I 
6 Undo nuts (arrows) and remove level control valve unit (Y36/6) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA32.22-P-1005-03A 
7 Remove rubber buffer to level control valve unit   AR32.31-P-0650-01I 
8 Install in the reverse order    
9 Fill AIRmatic system using Star Diagnosis IMPORTANT Pressurize to 5 bar
NOTES The wheels must not touch the ground while pressurizing because the air bellows in the suspension strut will be destroyed if pressurized with the suspension deflected.
 
10 Check AIRmatic for leaks.   AR32.22-P-8100I
