	Remove/install

1	Open the bleed screws (57) to release the pressure from the ABC system	The engine must be switched off for at least 5 minutes. To prevent the body of the vehicle from sinking rapidly, open the bleed screw (57) slowly to limit the flow rate of the emerging hydraulic fluid. Allow the emerging hydraulic fluid to drain into a suitable container.

2	Remove the return line to the pressure reservoir (53)		AR32.50-P-0012N
3	Unscrew high-pressure line to left rear suspension strut (FB1) and the pressure line to the right rear suspension strut (FB2) from rear ABC valve body (Y36/2)		*BA32.50-P-1002-01A
4	Unscrew high-pressure supply line to rear suspension pressure reservoir (SP) and pressure line from tandem pump (P) from the ABC valve body for the rear suspension (Y36/2)	To allow time for the ABC system to depressurize completely, wait at least 15 minutes before disconnecting the high-pressure supply line from the tandem pump (P) and the high-pressure supply line to the pressure reservoir for the rear suspension (SP).

5	Disconnect the electrical plug-in connections (53d) and the plug-in connections (53e) from the ABC valve body for the rear suspension (Y36/2)	Installation: The electrical plugs and connections on the ABC valve body for the rear suspension (Y36/2) are color coded; take care to ensure that they are reconnected in the correct positions.
6	Unscrew the nuts (53a) and remove the ABC valve body for the rear suspension (Y36/2) together with its mounting bracket		*BA32.50-P-1009-01A
7	Detach the ABC valve body for the rear suspension (Y36/2) from its mounting bracket		*BA32.50-P-1006-01A
8	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
