	Remove/Install
	Risk of death  cased by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by pinching or jamming  when working on loaded springs or spring bodies	Use only approved clamping devices; shield off hazard area if necessary. Inspect special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection). Wear protective gloves.	AS00.00-Z-0001-01A
Installation	Replace self-locking nuts and bolts
1	Raise vehicle.
2	Tension rear spring (73)	Installed state	AR32.20-P-0200-06MB

3	Detach suspension strut (41) from spring link (72)		*BA32.25-P-1005-04B
4	Detach spring link (72) from wheel carrier	The rear spring can only be removed in combination with the spring link. Installation:  The rear axle shaft must be horizontal when tightening the nut.	*BA35.20-P-1002-01B
5	Detach spring link (72) from rear axle carrier	Installation:  The rear axle shaft must be horizontal when tightening the nut.	*BA35.20-P-1001-01B
6	Remove spring link (72) together with rear spring (73)	Clean spring link in contact area
7	Relieve tension in rear spring (73) and remove	After replacing the rear spring or the rubber mount ↓
		Check and correct headlamp adjustment	AP82.10-P-8260A
8	Insert rear spring (73) into spring link (72) and tension	Removed state	AR32.20-P-0200-06MB
9	Install in the reverse order
