Pressing out and attaching supporting joint at steering knuckle - AR33.20-P-0440-01IW

TORQUE SPECIFICATION WHEEL LOCATION, HUB

Pry off supporting joint 

  1. Unscrew self-locking nut from supporting joint (7) in steering knuckle assembly (5).
  2. SPECIAL TOOL Attach thrust piece (07a).
  3. Use SPECIAL TOOL puller (07) to press out supporting joint (7).
  4. SPECIAL TOOL Remove puller (07) and SPECIAL TOOL thrust piece (07a)

    Attach supporting joint 

  5. Clean tapered connection.

    IMPORTANT The cone and thread must be free of grease and oil

  6. Replace self-locking nut and observe tightening torque
