Routing shown on model 220 

  1. Route voltage supply wiring harness (1) into the right-hand cable duct and to the right of the rear seat compartment.
  2. Route branch-off lines to vehicle rear (antenna and connecting lines for overhead control panel) (a) from rear seat compartment, along existing wiring harnesses upwards to parcel shelf or into the trunk.
  3. Connect brown cable (br) of voltage supply wiring harness (1) to ground right inner door sill (W28/2).
  4. Insert voltage supply wiring harness (1) into existing cable ducts to the center console. Put down branch-off lines (1/1, 1/2) on center tunnel.
  5. Continue inserting voltage supply wiring harness (1) into existing cable ducts to the driver's footwell (b).

  6. Solder blue/black cable (bl/sw) of voltage supply wiring harness (1) with solder connector to blue/black (bl/sw) cable of the connector sleeve for the wake-up signal (Z35/10).
  7. Route voltage supply wiring harness (1) along existing wiring harnesses towards engine compartment (b) to the left fuse box.

  8. Route voltage supply wiring harness, black/yellow (sw/ge) in left front fuse box (F1) to socket (F1-f18) and fit fuse holder housing to left front fuse and relay module (K40/6).

  9. Connect branch-off line of voltage supply wiring harness, red/black cable (rt/sw) on rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) to fuse socket (F4-f63).

    IMPORTANT The cable for the microphone hands-free system has been pre-installed in the wiring harness for the overhead control panel.

  10. Pull out the overhead control panel and FFS connector (X25/8) from below the parcel shelf and disconnect it.
  11. Insert black cable (sw) branch-off line of voltage supply wiring harness into pin 1.
  12. Insert white cable (ws) branch-off line of voltage supply wiring harness into pin 15.

  13. Route antenna cable along existing lines into rear of the vehicle (a) and clip into the line fasteners (6).

  14. Connect antenna lines (7) and (8) of the voltage supply wiring harness at the portable CTEL D2B interface (A59/1) to each other.
