32 554 B1	Two possible complaints can occur: Irregular level control, engine is running or one-sided lowering of the vehicle after shutting down, engine not running. If both complaints occur simultaneously process cause 2 first.
	Cause 1:	Remedy 1:
	If this complaint occurs when the engine is running, a control valve sticking in the valve block of the front axle or rear axle may be the cause.	Replacement of the valve blocks or level calibration does not help in the case of this complaint.
	Irregular level control, engine is running	1 Read out fault memory of ABS control unit.
	On new vehicles the front axle control valves Y36/1 or rear axle control valves Y36/2 may stick when the vehicle stands for a longer time in the idle position (> 10 min.): The following can occur: The vehicle can rise or lower irregularly on one wheel or axle. In individual cases, a warning message appears on the display in the instrument cluster.	Possible fault codes: C1525 001 - Critical vehicle level left front C1525 002 - Critical vehicle level right front C1525 004 - Critical vehicle level left rear C1525 008 - Critical vehicle level right rear C1526 001 - Fault in hydraulic circuit at left front suspension strut C1526 002 - Fault in hydraulic circuit at right front suspension strut C1526 004 - Fault in hydraulic circuit at left rear suspension strut C1526 008 - Fault in hydraulic circuit at right rear suspension strut

	Cause 2:	Remedy 2:
	Lock valve in valve block for front or rear axle internally leaky.	Replacing the ABS control unit or level calibration does not help in the case of this complaint.
	One-sided lowering of the vehicle when shutting down, engine not running.	1 Park vehicle on a flat surface.
	When the engine is off, inner leakage of the lock valve in the front axle valve block Y36/1 or rear axle valve block Y36/2 may cause one-sided lowering of the vehicle.	The vehicle level must not drop even after a longer standing time (over night).
		2 Read out fault memory of ABS control unit.
		Possible fault codes: - C1525 001 - Critical vehicle level left front - C1525 002 - Critical vehicle level right front - C1525 004 - Critical vehicle level left rear - C1525 008 - Critical vehicle level right rear - C1531 001 - Left front suspension strut moves, even though lock valve is closed - C1531 002 - Right front suspension strut moves, even though lock valve is closed - C1531 004 - Left rear suspension strut moves, even though lock valve is closed - C1531 008 - Right rear suspension strut moves, even though lock valve is closed
