Pulling out and pressing in rear axle shaft in rear axle center assembly - AR35.30-P-0620-02PF

Pulling out rear axle shaft 

  1. Press rear axle shaft (37) out of rear axle center assembly using a suitable tool (e.g. screwdriver, assembly lever).

    NOTES Do not damage the radial sealing ring when pressing out the rear axle shaft (37) so as to avoid leakage. Rear axle shafts (37) with defective joints or boots must be replaced in order to guarantee proper functioning.

  2. Pressing in rear axle shaft 

  3. Press in rear axle shaft until the locking ring (37g) can be felt to engage.

    NOTES Do not damage the radial sealing ring when pressing the rear axle shaft into the rear axle center assembly so as to avoid leakage. The joint ring must be flush with the rear axle housing in order to guarantee proper functioning.

    IMPORTANT Align joint ring horizontally so that the splined profile is not tilted when inserting.
