The telephone antenna (A2/22) transmits and receives telephone signals (data and voice information).

The signals picked up by the telephone antenna (A2/22) are amplified by the integral antenna amplifier while the signals transmitted are bunched in a clubbed formation.

These signals are passed on via the antenna cable.
