Wheel Carrier: Installation

Installation is reverse of removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Do not damage the supporting joint boot when moving in the wheel carrier. Position camber strut on wheel carrier first when installing. Adjust the parking brake. Secure twelve-point collar nut (12) using caulker so that no gap remains between the groove and locking tabs (arrow). See PARKING BRAKE under ADJUSTMENTS in BRAKES.
