Removing and installing rear center safety belt - AR91.40-P-0683PA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removing, installing    
DANGER The spring in the inertia reel can pose an injury hazard  when the tension is released and it uncoils. Never disassemble inertia reels AS91.00-Z-0002-01A
1 Release rear seat cushion and fold forwards    
2 Remove rear seat backrest   AR91.12-P-1720PA 
3 Remove left rear seat backrest covering   AR91.18-P-1874PA 
    IMPORTANT Loosen top half of the rear seat backrest cover
Only dismantle rear seat backrest up to "remove felt covering".
 
4 Unhook upholstery wire for rear seat backrest cover from eyelet (6) in the upholstery    
5 Unscrew bolts (8).    
6 Remove holder (4)    
7 Unclip seat belt guide (5) from holder (4)    
8 Pull safety belt out of holder (4) NOTESInstallation:  safety belt can only reeled out in a certain position (installation position).  
9 Unscrew screw (9) at inertia reel (7) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw at rear inertia reel *BA91.40-P-1006-01A 
10 Remove automatic belt reel Noises from the automatic belt reel when rolling up belt are normal. The only available response to negative customer feedback regarding unacceptable noise levels is to replace the safety belt assembly in its entirety.
NOTES Never use oil or grease to eliminate noises. Inertia reels that have been opened are no longer under warranty!
 
11 Install in the reverse order    
TORQUE SPECIFICATION SEAT BELTS/EMERGENCY TENSIONING RETRACTORS
