The trip computer (TRIP) allows the distance travelled to be displayed.

The display appears when the transmitter key (A8/1) is turned to position 2 (circuit 15 ON) depending on the setting (kilometers or miles) and national version coding of the instrument cluster (A1).

After activating the "Trip Computer" menu using the system selection button (S110s3), the distance travelled "since reset" is displayed on the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1) by pressing the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) of the multifunction steering wheel.

IMPORTANT 4 wheel speed signals are evaluated for the travel distance. The signals are passed on the Controller Area Network bus class C (interior) (CAN-C) by the ESP and BAS control unit (N47-5) and read in by the instrument cluster (A1).

IMPORTANT If the display of travel time or travel distance exceeds the maximum display value, the travel time and travel distance are reset automatically. This preserves the relationship between travel time and mileage.
