Prepare window for installation - AR67.10-P-1000-03P

IMPORTANT The cutouts for the ground connections (1, 2, 3, 4) on the rear window to the body should be coated with primer. e.g. from the 2-component repair kit for glazing glued window (see arrows).

  1. Check window for scratches and damage.
  2. Cut off remaining glue on window down to approx. 2 mm.

    IMPORTANT Only when using previously installed window

  3. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).

  4. Clean window with cleaning rag from repair set for glazing glued windows and rub dry with rag.

    IMPORTANT When using a new window

  5. Apply activator from repair set for glazing glued windows to window and also rub dry with rag.

    IMPORTANT When using a new window

  6. Repair damaged primer layer on window with primer from repair set for glazing glued windows.

    IMPORTANT Only when using previously installed window

    IMPORTANT Allow primer to air-dry for min. 10 minutes.

  7. Apply primer from repair set for glazing glued windows to window in gluing area (maximum width 20 mm).

    IMPORTANT Replacement windshields are generally delivered with a viewing window on the bottom left. If the sight window is not required, always coat this area on the inside with Betaprimer from the 2-component repair kit for glazing glued windows before installing the window.

    IMPORTANT When using a new window

    IMPORTANT Allow primer to air-dry for min. 10 minutes.
