The cutouts for the ground connections (1, 2, 3, 4) on the rear window to the body should be coated with primer. e.g. from the 2-component repair kit for glazing glued window (see arrows).

- Check window for scratches and damage.
- Cut off remaining glue on window down to approx. 2 mm.

- Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).

- Clean window with cleaning rag from repair set for glazing glued windows and rub dry with rag.
When using a new window
- Apply activator from repair set for glazing glued windows to window and also rub dry with rag.
When using a new window
- Repair damaged primer layer on window with primer from repair set for glazing glued windows.

Allow primer to air-dry for min. 10 minutes.
- Apply primer from repair set for glazing glued windows to window in gluing area (maximum width 20 mm).
Replacement windshields are generally delivered with a viewing window on the bottom left. If the sight window is not required, always coat this area on the inside with Betaprimer from the 2-component repair kit for glazing glued windows before installing the window.
When using a new window
Allow primer to air-dry for min. 10 minutes.
