Remove covering on belt end fitting |

Unscrew bolt (11) |

Disconnect electrical connector (12) |
On USA version code 494a
Only on passenger side. |

Remove edge guard (3) in area of B-pillar paneling |
|
|
| 6 |
Press clips (4) off of upper B-pillar paneling (1) with screwdriver |
|
|
| 7 |
Remove upper B-pillar paneling (1) from bottom B-pillar paneling (2). |
|
|
| 8 |
Pull seat belt (5) out of upper B-pillar paneling (1) |
|
|
| 9 |
Unclip bottom B-pillar paneling (2) from clips (6) and remove |
|
|
 |
Install |
|
|
| 10 |
Insert clips (4) into B-pillar |
|
|
| 11 |
Clip bottom B-pillar paneling (2) into clips (6) |
|
|
| 12 |
Insert seat belt (5) through top B-pillar paneling opening (1) |
|
|
| 13 |
Install upper B-pillar paneling (1) into bottom B-pillar paneling (2) |
|
|
| 14 |
Clip upper B-pillar paneling (1) into clips (4) |
The bolt (8) must be inserted in the support (9) and the lock pawl (7) must be inserted in the button (10). |

| 15 |
Fit the belt end fitting onto the seat with bolt (11) and tighten |
Screw at belt end fitting. |

Install cover on belt end fitting |

Install edge guard (3) on B-pillar |
|
|
| 19 |
Check seat belt height adjustment at B-pillar for proper function |
It must be possible to adjust and lock the seat belt height adjustment in five positions. |
