Trigger alarm with panic switch, function - GF80.50-P-3014PP

Alarm actuation 

Actuate panic alarm button (PANIC) on transmitter key (A8/1) for approx. 1 s.

The signal of the transmitter key (A8/1) is received on the vehicle and after the authorization code has been checked by the EIS control module (N73) it is relayed rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via CAN-B (CAN). The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) triggers a visual and acoustic alarm.

Alarm output 

The alarm signal horn with additional battery outputs an acoustic alarm regardless of the ATA status.

Parallel to this, a visual alarm is output

IMPORTANT The panic alarm has priority over the ATA alarm.

If both alarms are set off, the panic alarm is emitted.

Visual alarm 

The alarm output is actuated by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2). The type of alarm and alarm duration are stored in the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

Interior lights actuation 

The interior lights is switched by the overhead control panel control module, without dimming, for the duration of the visual alarm.

Exterior lights actuation 

The visual alarm is accomplished when the

Acoustic alarm 

The acoustic alarm is output by the alarm signal horn with additional battery (H3/1).

Alarm duration 

The alarm duration of the visual alarm is approx. 180 s.

The alarm duration of the acoustic alarm is approx. 185 s

Terminate alarm 

Momentarily actuate panic alarm button (PANIC) on transmitter key (A8/1).

The panic alarm is terminated when the EIS control unit (N73) recognizes a valid transmitter key (A8/1).

IMPORTANT The panic alarm function and the duration of the alarm can be programmed via the STAR DIAGNOSIS.
