Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism. |

Move wiper motor to parking position |

Withdraw ignition key |

Remove liner on tailgate |

Open cover (1) |

Unscrew nut (2) |

Raise wiper arm |

| 7 |
Take off wiper arm |
Do not damage washer nozzle.
 Installation:
Observe installed position |

Disconnect coupling (4) |
|
|
| 9 |
Detach washer fluid line (5) from connection piece |
|
|
| 10 |
Unscrew bolts (3) |
Installation:
Pay attention to installation position of tailgate wiper motor (M6/4). |

Take out tailgate wiper motor (M6/4) |
Installation:
If damage present, the rubber grommet of the rear window must be replaced. |

Install in the reverse order |
|

| 13 |
Inspect fluid level of windshield washer system, adjust to correct level |
