1. Bolt mounting for handset (5) with bolts (4) onto telephone sidewall (12) at pre-punched fastening holes.
2. Insert cover (6).

3. Insert telephone handset (A34) into mounting for handset (5).
4. Clip telephone handset connector (A34x1) for adapter cable (8) from inside into the telephone sidewall (12).

   Securing lug of connector must point upwards  (arrow).

5. Connect telephone handset connector (A34x1) from outside.

6. Connect handset transmitter/receiver connector (X39/5) to telephone wiring harness.
7. Insert telephone sidewall (12) into the sidewall of the instrument panel (arrow).

   Telephone sidewall (12) will be bolted onto the center console later with the bolts.
