Connection schematic for wiring harness

1. Unravel voice control system wiring harness (1) up to yellow mark (arrow).
2. Connect cable lacing with green, 2-pin coupling from yellow mark (arrow) to black, 15-pin coupling with insulating tape (10) to voice control system wiring harness (1).

   Install blue/black (bl/sw) lead from the yellow marking (arrow) in the frame floor system, right wiring duct.

3. Route voice control system wiring harness (1) with black, 15-pin coupling, brown ground cable lacing, green 2-pin coupling and the two black, 2-pin couplings with yellow mark from start of right rear cable duct (arrow) along existing leads on wheelhouse and fasten.
4. Route voice control system wiring harness (1) into trunk through opening.

5. Route voice control system wiring harness (1) with brown ground cable lacing and the two black, 2-pin couplings along existing leads and fasten.
6. Connect brown wire (br) to ground (right wheel housing in trunk) (W7).
7. Attach the two black 2-pin couplings of the voice control system wiring system (1) to the microphone separation point standard coupling (X58/3) and fasten.

8. Route blue/black (bl/sw) lead in right wiring duct to black 10-pin wake-up signal connector (X30/8).

   The wake-up signal connector (X30/8) is in the right cable duct, just before the right A-pillar.

9. Insert blue/black (bl/sw) lead into chamber 5 of existing black, 10-pin wake-up signal connector (X30/8).

10. Route voice control system wiring harness (1) with green, 2-pin coupling and black, 15-pin coupling along existing leads in right trunk and on control unit plate and fasten.
11. Connect black, 15-pin connector to voice control system control unit (A35/11).

12. Route voice control system wiring harness (1) with green, 2-pin coupling to rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) along present leads and fasten.

13. Insert green, 2-pin connector into free plug location (5, arrow) of rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

    Plug location 5 is marked in green color. Tie back excess.
