Retrofit Linguatronic voice control system activation switch - AN82.70-P-0004-02P

Pull cover (4) out of CC cruise control switch (S40).
Cover (4) is a discontinued part.
Insert VCS switch (S93/2) in CC switch (S40).
Pay attention to installation position of VCS switch (S93/2). VCS switch (S93/2) must audibly engage. It is not possible to remove it later. VCS switch (S93/2) and CC cruise control switch (S40) form one unit.

Install new jacket tube cover.
Fit VCS switch (S93/2) and CC switch (S40) to steering column with screw (5).

Route cruise control switch (10) wiring harness to EIS control unit (N73) along present lines below instrument panel and connect.
Connect blue coupling (6) of cruise control switch (10) wiring harness to EIS control unit (N73).

Connect 1-pin, black coupling (7) of cruise control switch wiring harness (10) to existing plug.
Plug is located in the vicinity of the steering column.
