- Apply cleaner from repair set to bonding surface using lint-free rag, then wipe dry with second rag.
- Cut off remaining adhesive material of body flange with cutting blade
- If adhesive material residues are damaged or missing on the body flange, apply primer in area to be glued.
- Repair paint damages on body flange not covered by glue with primer pin
To avoid poor adhesion when glazing, the adhesive surfaces of the body flange should be free of dust, oil, grease, wax and other co-adhesive components or dirt residues. Not more than 0.2 mm must remain. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).
