Drill hole for attachment of antenna as per the accompanying drawing.
Deburr hole and restore corrosion protection, see paintwork manual (LHB).
Screw antenna base with HF line (5) through the hole to antenna splitter.
Ensure proper ground connection between antenna and body.

Clean area of bonding surface at roof paneling.
The bonding surface must be completely free of grease.
Wind anti-rattle tape (self-adhesive felt tape) around HF line (5) in roof area and fasten to roof paneling using adhesive strip.
Be very careful when fastening the wiring harness to prevent rattling noise.

Route HF line along C-pillar, beyond the reach of the windowbag, to the frame floor system.
The function of the windowbag unit may not be impaired under any circumstances.

Fasten HF line on existing wiring harnesses to the extent possible.
Route HF line (5) in frame floor system to radio installation opening.
