Model 203 as of 1.6.03, model 209
Remove adapter (D) and
choke angle gauge (A) from the
adjustment tool set.
Insert adapter (D) into the guide (arrow) of the
choke angle gauge (A) and fasten with knurled bolt to
choke angle gauge (A).
Insert adapter (D) at
choke angle gauge (A) into the wiper blade mount of the driver-side wiper arm (1) and clamp tight by twisting the
locating bolt (2).
- Lower driver-side wiper arm (1) until all three jacking points of the
choke angle gauge foot (A) touch the windshield.
- Read angle of incidence of driver-side wiper arm (1) on the dial of the
choke angle gauge (A) and record.
- Lift driver-side wiper arm (1),
loosen choke angle gauge (A) by twisting the
locating bolt (2) from the driver-side wiper arm (1) and remove.
- Repeat testing procedure for front passenger side wiper arm.
- Lift wiper arms, cover with appropriate aids and set down on windshield.
When changing from reverse position to parked position it has to be observed, that the wiper arms do not have any direct contact to the windshield, otherwise it will be scratched.
- Turn on ignition (circuit 15 or circuit 15R), let wiper system run in parked position, turn ignition off again and remove aid (scratch protection) from the wiper arms.
Clamp choke angle gauge (A) tight to driver-side wiper arm (1).
- Lower driver-side wiper arm (1) until all three jacking points of the
choke angle gauge foot (A) touch the windshield.
- Read angle of incidence of driver-side wiper arm (1) on the dial of the
choke angle gauge (A) and record.
- Lift driver-side wiper arm (1),
remove choke angle gauge (A) from driver-side wiper arm (1).
- Repeat testing procedure for front passenger side wiper arm.
