Start up Auto-Pilot-System - AN82.61-P-1002-07PA

System description 

IMPORTANT The start-up step 5.1 applies only for units which have already been installed in a vehicle and obtained initial calibration.

1   IMPORTANT Switch on Audio 30 APS navigation system  
2.1 Insert up-date CD IMPORTANT Only on new units delivered with an up-date CD. Follow menu guidance  
3 Insert navigation CD Loading time can take several minutes.  
4 Navigation menu Call navigation menu by pressing NAV button LANGU POS CLOCK WHEEL 
5.1 Erase initial calibration IMPORTANTApplies only when initial calibration has been performed on unit 
Select menu "ENTER ADDRESS" on right rotary knob (10) and confirm by pressing rotary knob (10). 
Press multifunction keys 2 and 7 in sequence and release simultaneously. Press KAL multifunction key. 
KAL 
    Select menu "ERASE CALIBRATION" by turning right rotary knob (10) and confirm by pressing rotary knob (10). After a short time the navigation basic menu appears 
6 Commissioning Park vehicle outdoors with Audio 30 APS switched on (minimum reception time for GPS satellite signals approx. 30 min.)
Call navigation menu by pressing NAV button
LANGU POS CLOCK WHEEL 
7 Select language By pressing the multifunction key "LANGU" select desired language.  
8 Enter vehicle type Select specified entry, e.g. MB passenger car. MB passenger car 
9 Enter tire size By pressing the multifunction key "WHEEL" enter tire size and confirm by pressing right rotary knob (10). Wheel 
10 Take over parameter Select entry "Take over values".
IMPORTANT The vehicle is now calibrated and is ready for use with a GPS reception from "Fix 2D".
Calibration drive is no longer required.
System restart 
11 Carry out road test Call navigation menu by pressing NAV multifunction button
Enter destination (see operating instructions) and drive to destination.
