MODIFICATION NOTES

19.4.01 Replaces STIP80.57-009 dated 18.04.2001    
Damage code Cause Remedy  
  Due to a software error the DTC "B 1000" can be stored in the electronic ignition/starter switch control module (EIS) 1 Erase fault memory.
IMPORTANT Only when DTC is stored, however, not current.
NOTES Do not replace EIS.
