Trip computer (TRIP), networking of components - GF54.50-P-0001-02P

Function overview 

The trip computer (TRIP) is integrated in the instrument cluster (A1).

The instrument cluster (A1) is connected to the following data bus systems:

Data is exchanged with almost all control units over the two data bus systems.

IMPORTANT The instrument cluster (A1) does not serve as an interface between CAN-B and CAN-C. This is the function of the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73).

Basically it concerns the following information:

Received messages for the multifunction display (A1p13) 

All signals for the messages on the multifunction display (A1p13) are received via CAN-B or CAN-C.
