Some of the conventional wiring is no longer required due to the passenger compartment networking. Switches and control modules are connected by CAN data lines. The DI control module forms the gateway between the passenger compartment bus and engine compartment bus.

The following control modules are networked at the passenger compartment bus:

• Overhead control panel
• DI control module
• PSE control module (combined)
• Driver-side signal-acquisition and actuation module (SAM)
• Left front seat adjustment control module with memory (model 210)
• Right front seat adjustment control module with memory (model 210)
• Front driver-side door control module
• Front passenger side door control module
• Rear driver-side door control module
• Rear passenger side door control module
• Lower control field control module
