	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts	All models	AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Move adjustable steering column all the way out and down
2	Remove glove compartment with side wall (8)		AR68.10-P-1400P
3	Instrument panel (11) removal		AR68.10-P-1000P
4	Remove center reinforcement (9) with air ducts
5	Remove wiper system		AR82.30-P-6400P
6	Remove bolts (14, 21)
7	Remove jacket tube (15) from instrument panel carrier (10) and fold down into footwell	Do not remove bottom steering shaft from steering coupling.
		Model 203 with mechanically adjustable outer jacket tube (15) except 203.081/084/281/284	AR46.10-P-0400P
		Model 203.081/084/281/284 with mechanically adjustable outer jacket tube (15)	AR46.10-P-0400PA
8	Open cable duct on instrument panel carrier (10)	In area of jacket tube (15).
9	Open all cable ties of leads on instrument panel carrier (10)
10	Detach wiring
11	Remove bolts (16)
12	Remove screws (17)
13	Unscrew nut (18)
14	Remove screw (19)
15	Remove nuts (20)
16	Remove instrument panel carrier (10)	Avoid damaging heater/AC housing (13) and passenger compartment! Installation:  First install all bolts and nuts, align instrument panel carrier (10), otherwise the instrument panel carrier (10) can distort
17	Install in the reverse order
