TORQUE SPECIFICATION FRONT END WITH FRONT REINFORCEMENT

  1. Center front end with aid of centering pins and fasten to longitudinal member (observe Nm specifications).

    IMPORTANT An offset of the holes (arrows) is possible.

  2. Check and adjust gap dimensions on front door/front fender and engine hood/front fenders.

    IMPORTANT The precision setting of a front module can only be made after the steps described above have been completed.

  3. Install screws (1) for reinforcement on fender bracket.
  4. Install screws (2) for headlamp/reinforcement.
  5. Install bracket (3) for side bumper mount.

  6. Install and center bumper at 4 mounting points (arrows).
  7. Adjust transition between bumper/front fender (4).
  8. Adjust transition between bumper/front fender (4) in direction of arrow with adjustment screw (5).
  9. Close engine hood, center mounted headlamps and reinforcement in reference to engine hood, front fenders and bumper. Secure reinforcement and headlamp.

    IMPORTANT If further adjustment is required because the gap around the headlamp is not equal, adjust as required.
