Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and support vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Brake fluid reservoir must not drain completely.
  2. Remove brake line (5) from brake hose (51) and seal off openings. See Fig 1 .
  3. Unclip brake hose clip (51a) at suspension strut and remove tie straps.
  4. Remove brake hose (51) from brake caliper.
  5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
