Opening/closing rear door windows, function - GF72.29-P-2001PP

The rear power windows are operated with the left rear power window switch (S21/3) and right rear power window switch (S21/4) in the rear doors.

They can also be operated using the left rear power window switch (S20/1s3) and right rear power window switch (S20/1s4) via the driver power window switch group (S20/1).

The automatic raising and lowering functions open and close the window completely.

The manual raising and lowering function moves the window up or down as long as the switch is pressed.

Valid up to 30.6.02 

With the rear power window safety switch (S20/1s5) in the driver power window switch group (S20/1) it is possible to switch off the control of the rear power windows via the left rear power window switch (S21/3) and the right rear power window switch (S21/4).

Valid as of 1.7.02 

The function sequence is the same, only the designation has been changed from:

• rear power window safety switch (S20/1s5) in
• Child protection switch for rear side windows (S20/1s5)
