Removing tapered roller bearing outer races from rear axle housing - AR35.31-P-0550-09C

  1. SPECIAL TOOL Mount removal and installation tool (038) at rear axle housing.
  2. Using thrust piece (038a) 201 589 02 43 00 Part 15, pull large tapered roller bearing outer race (46b) out of rear axle housing and remove with shim.

  3. Using thrust piece (038b) 201 589 02 43 00 part 16, press the small tapered roller bearing outer race (43e) out of the rear axle housing.
  4. SPECIAL TOOL Detach removal and installation tool (038).
