The oil drain screw must always be replaced with a new screw after removal from the rear axle center assembly. The new oil drain screw and the tapped hole must be cleaned using a special cleaning spray and a special sealing compound must be applied to the oil drain screw. |

- Clean the area around the oil drain screw (50h).
- Unscrew oil drain screw (50h).
Shown: 198 mm dia. rear axle center assembly
Replace oil drain screw (50h).
- Coat Loctite 7063 cleaning spray on a rag and clean the new oil drain screw (50h) and tapped hole in the rear axle center assembly.
The oil drain screw (50h) and tapped hole must be free from oil and grease.
- Coat about one drop of Omnifit 1 sealing compound onto the 00H second or third lower thread.
- Screw the oil drain screw (50h) into the rear axle center assembly immediately and tighten
