Removing and installing thermostat in coolant circuit - AR83.70-P-6016C

MODEL 129 as of 1.6.97 with CODE (228) Stationary heater

REMOVINGINSTALLING Removal, installation     
1 Disconnect heater from frame member until thermostat (2) is exposed IMPORTANT Support heater before unscrewing nuts  
DANGER Danger  of severe burns to skin and eyes from hot coolant spewing out. Coolant is toxic  when swallowed Open cooling system only when coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cover slowly and reduce pressure. Do not fill beverage containers with coolant. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and protective goggles. AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
2 Release pressure in coolant circuit IMPORTANT For this purpose turn cap on coolant expansion reservoir to catch position 1  
3 Clamp off coolant lines (3) to thermostat (2) SPECIAL TOOL Figure
4 Disconnect coolant lines (3) from thermostat (2)    
5.1 Remove clamp (1) from heater mount    
5.2 Remove thermostat (2) from heater mount    
6 Reinstall in opposite order    
7 Bleed coolant circuit after installing heater   AR83.70-P-5302-01C 
8 Perform stationary heater diagnosis (STH), function check   AD83.70-P-3003A 
9 Check coolant circuit for leakage   ra20001190170x
