Reworking body at rear wheel houses - AZ40.10-P-0001-10A

Only with 9J 18 EH2 ET 44 with tires _ 265/40 R 18 and 9.5 J_18 H2 ET 46 with tires 275/40 R 18 and 9.5J _19 H2 ET46 with tires 275/40 ZR 19 M0 and with model 220 with 9.5J_19 H2 ET46 and tires 275/35 ZR 19 M0. 

  1. Edge fender panel in indicated area (A) to B=65° in several stages.

  1. 2.1 Remove catch hook at rear apron on left and right (not required with AMG rear apron).
  2. 3 Edge horizontal flange (hatched area) of left and right side wall upwards to 80° in accordance with bending line (B).

    NOTESUse a plastic mallet to avoid damaging paint. Carefully heat outer edges of fender to max. 70 to 80 °C using a hot air gun. 

    NOTESDo not overheat paint when warming edges of fender (max. 80 °C). Repair any damage to the paint. 

  3. 4 Post-preserve wheel houses with underfloor protection. Spray adjusted fender edges with body-cavity protection.
