MODEL 215 with CODE (404b) Multicontour backrest driver's seat

MODEL 215 with CODE (405b) Multicontour backrest passenger seat

Manual adjustment

Manual adjustment of the air cushion groups in the multicontour backrest is possible with the right front multicontour backrest switch group (S108)/left front multicontour backrest switch group (S109)  located in the seat cushion frame (exterior side) of the associated seat.

The manual air cushion settings are stored in the left or right front multicontour backrest control modules (N32/15, N32/16)  in a volatile memory. These values can be stored in non-volatile memory in the left front seat adjustment control module, with memory (N32/1)  and the right front seat adjustment control module, with memory (N32/2)  using the memory function  and can then be recalled later.

Adjusting shoulder area

The air cushions in the shoulder area of the seat are adjusted with the shoulder area adjustment switch (S108s4)/shoulder area adjustment switch (S109s4).  When the rocker switch is actuated in the direction "+" ("-") the backrest contour changes in the shoulder area by inflating (deflating) the air cushions.

Adjusting lumbar area

The lumbar area of the seat is adjusted with the lumbar support adjustment switch (S108s3)/lumbar support adjustment switch (S109s3).

When the cross toggle is actuated in the direction "+" ("-") the backrest contour in the lumbar area is changed by simultaneously inflating (deflating) both cushion areas.

When the lumbar rocker switch is actuated in the direction "AIR FLOW UP " the air pressure in the upper air cushion increases and decreases in the lower cushion.

When the lumbar rocker switch is actuated in the direction "AIR FLOW DOWN " the air pressure in the upper air cushion decreases and increases in the lower cushion.

Adjusting side cheeks

The seat side cheek can be adjusted with the side cheeks adjustment switch (S108s2)/side cheeks adjustment switch (S109s2).

When the rocker switch is actuated toward the inside (outside) the air cushions on the left and right backrest side cheeks are inflated (deflated).
