2	Remove trunk lid	Except 2 to 11. Separate electric and pneumatic connection on retractor and remove retractor.

3	Remove trunk lid lock cover	The cover is a part which can be eliminated.
4	Remove hinge lever for trunk lid	The hinge levers are parts which can be eliminated

5	Remove right and lever covers (16) in trunk
6	Remove coverings in trunk

8	Remove pneumatic system equipment	It is not required to loosen the pneumatic lines.

9.1	Remove Keyless Go antenna.	It is not required to loosen the lines. with CODE (889) Keyless Go.

13	Remove side wall paneling	Only right side.

14	Remove rear SAM control module with fuse and relay box	It is not required to loosen the lines.

15	Remove switch module of power window switch	Driver power window switch group (S20/1) is a part which can be eliminated.

	Install
16	Install switch module of power window switch	Use new switch group of driver power window switch (S20/1) with open and close trunk lid switch (S20/1s6).

17	Retrofit hinge lever and drive for remote trunk lid closing		AN88.50-P-0002-03N
18	Install trunk lid opening angle detection sensor
		with CODE (881b) remote trunk lid closing (RTC).	AR88.50-P-5065N
19	Insert protective cap (13) below battery frame
20	Place RTC hydraulic pump (M51) in protective cap
21	Install working cylinder (14) into drive element together with lines.	Route the hydraulic lines between fender and reinforcement. Mask sharp edges in area of lines with felt.
22	Retrofitting trunk lid remote control wiring harness		AN88.50-P-0002-02N
		Fuse assignment of rear fuse and relay box with combination functions.	GF54.15-P-1256-01IH
23	Install the PSE control module

31	Install right and left cover (16) in trunk
32	Clip in gas pressure struts (17) on left and right hinges

35	Install trunk lid	Use new cover with RTC.

36	Connect RTC [HDFS] button (S62/26) with plug tied back and clip into new cover
37	Install battery

38	Coat screws with paint in visible area
	Inspect
39	Perform control module adaptation (PSE) and synchronization for trunk lid remote control system with STAR DIAGNOSIS	In function group "Synchronize" Open trunk lid (synchronization at top), press switch in trunk lid, trunk closes (synchronization at bottom).
40	Perform function check
41	When modifying the scope of equipment enter code and designation of corresponding special equipment on vehicle data card and FDOK	Remote trunk lid closing (RTC) code 881b.
