As of 01.09.02 the following designations have changed
- airbag control module (N2/7) to restraint systems control module (N2/7)
- Control module for Electronic Diesel System (EDS) (N39/2) to CDI control module (N3/9)
In the event of a crash the airbag control module (N2/7) sends a message to the control module for motor electronics (ME-SFI) (N3/10) (gasoline engined model) or control module for Electronic Diesel System (EDS) (N39/2) (diesel). The control module then cuts off the engine.
