| 1 | Disconnect ground cable (W10), connect | Models with stationary heater: set clock of stationary heater |

| 2 | Remove cover of relay module (K40/7) | ||
| 3 | Unplug connectors (A3, A4) of control module (N3/10) | ||
| 4 | Unplug connectors (A1, A2) at relay module (K40/7) | ||
| 5 | Separate fuse carrier (F1-f37) from relay module | ||
| 6 | Disconnect ground cable of suspension dome (W16/1) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect ground cable of power steering pump (W30/2) | ||
| 8 | Unbolt circuit 30 terminal block (X4/22) at outside of body | ||
| 9 | Unplug central connector (X22/2) of automatic transmission | ||
| 10 | Unbolt transmission ground (W49) | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 12 | Read fault memory and erase, if necessary | Stored faults which can result from cables being disconnected or from simulation during removal and installation or test work, have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work. Refer to: ↓ STAR DIAGNOSIS |
