ME-SFI part load/full load operation - function - GF07.61-P-3016SM
ENGINE 113.986
ENGINE 113.987
ENGINE 113.988
ENGINE 113.989
Partial load operation:
When the engine is at operating temperature, optimal exhaust emission values and low-cost fuel consumption are assured by the lambda control function.
Full load operation
The conditions for a maximum engine torque are created when the throttle valve is fully open and there are short air intake ways (switching flap in intake manifold open). The injection time is extended accordingly for this purpose.
The respective quantity of fuel is metered to the engine in line with the map. At the accelerator pedal sensor, a slewing range of 10 up to 90% is defined as partial load and a slewing range of more than approx. 90% as full load.
The fuel quantity depends on:
- Air mass
- Coolant temperature
- Engine speed
- Engine loading demand
- Intake air temperature
- Intake air pressure
- Lambda control
- Correction programming using STAR DIAGNOSIS
