Installing rear window - AR67.20-P-2000-05N

WORKSHOP EQUIPMENT

WE58.40-Z-1029-11A Cup suction tool for window removal and installation
  1. Position both suction cups on rear window.
  2. Install rear window in body flange with aid of second mechanic so that strips of tape coincide, position on bead of glue, center and press down so that rear window makes good contact.

    IMPORTANT Fasten trunk lid approx. 45° open for installing rear window.

NOTES Install rear window within 5 minutes after applying glue before adhesive force of glue begins to decrease.

IMPORTANT Open one crank window on vehicle to prevent window from being pressed outward by the air pressure when a door is closed.

IMPORTANT The curing time  is approx. 1 hour  measured from the time the rear window is installed.
