Prepare body flange for glazing - AR67.10-P-1501-01N

  1. Use COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS scraper knife to cut off remaining adhesive material on body flange.
  2. Clean painted adhesive surface on body flange with cleaning rag from cleaning set (Betaclean 3300) and dry with drying cloth included in cleaning set.
  3. Touch up paint damage on body flange which is not concealed by adhesive material, with primer stick (A 000 986 06 50).
  4. If remaining adhesive material is damaged or missing on body flange, apply primer in adhesive area (Betaprime 5061).

    NOTES Not more than 2 mm must remain. Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not completely cut off).

    NOTES To prevent the adhesive force of the glue to decrease when installing window adhesive surfaces of the body should be free of dust, oil, grease, wax and other anti-adhesive elements or dirt residues.

    NOTES Allow glass primer (Betaprime 5061) to flash off for at least 10 minutes.
