- Position suction cups

- Cut cutting wire
to a length of about 40 cm and guide with pliers through the adhesive seam from the interior of the vehicle to the outside (arrow).
- Grasp end of wire with pliers and pull to the outside.
Mask over window opening first of all with protective tape in order to avoid damage to paintwork.
- Attach the counterholder (1) from the window separating kit
to the end of the cutting wire in the interior of the vehicle.
- Attach the T-handle section (2) from the window separating kit
to the other end of the cutting wire.
- Support counterholder (1) offset about 15 cm for guiding cutting wire through in adhesive bead, pull on outside at T-handle (2) in direction of counterholder (1) and cut through adhesive bead.
Guide cover panel (3) (shop-made) at the same time in order to avoid damaging the rear shelf and the roof paneling.
Keep cutting wire tensioned during the entire operation otherwise the wire may break if it bends.
- Use suction cups
to take rear window out of window opening.
