Retrofitting seat ventilation at front seat - AN91.30-P-0002N

If no multi-contour seat is fitted, the maximum wiring harness must be retrofitted.

	Removing
1	Remove front seat	Place front seat down on a suitable and clean surface.

2	Remove seat backrest cover together with rubberized hair filling	Parts are replaced with new parts.

3	Remove front seat cushion (2)
			AR91.10-P-1070N
4	Remove seat cushion cover with rubberized hair filling	Parts are replaced with new parts.

	Installing
5	Install motor group for front left, right seat cushion ventilation (M18/9, M18/11) into rubberized hair filling of front seat cushion
			AR91.30-P-1950M
6	Install front seat cushion cover
			AR91.18-P-1800N
N	Install motor group for front left, right seat backrest ventilation (M18/10, M18/12) into new rubberized hair filling
			AR91.30-P-1900M
8	Install blower controller of seat ventilation
			AR91.30-P-1910N
9	Install seat backrest cover together with rubberized hair filling and motor group for front left, right seat backrest ventilation (M18/10, M18/12) at front seat backrest	Fit together plug connection of seat ventilation motors of front seat backrest (5) above crossmember of seat backrest frame. If no electrical connection for seat ventilation motors of front seat backrest is provided in the wiring harness, this must be replaced by a wiring harness (maximum configuration).

10	Install front seat cushion (2)	Connect plug connection of seat ventilation (6, blue) to contact strip of control module for convenience seat adjustment. (Plug connection can only be inserted one way.)

11.2	Remove door control module trim, install

12	Install front seat

13	Carry out control module coding (door control modules) with Star Diagnosis
14	Carry out operational check
15	In the event of modification to equipment fitted, subsequently enter code or designation of relevant special equipment on vehicle datacard / FDOK	Code 401a
