1	Check run of side windows	It must be guaranteed that during work on the vehicle one window is always open in order to prevent person(s) being locked out of the vehicle. In dusty surroundings cover the opening with corresponding foil. Raise and lower the side windows completely in sequence. The windows must move evenly in the process. The window must be lower evenly after the switch is operated. If the window lowers jerkily or the window jams during operation, the cause must be found and eliminated subject to a separate repair order after consultation with the customer.
2	Check emergency cranks	Depending on the vehicle equipment (1 to 4 moving windows) one or two emergency cranks may be fitted in the passenger compartment. Ensure that in each case a slanted reversible ratchet and corresponding socket wrench attachment (length 50 mm, WAF13) are available. If a tool is missing this must be completed after consultation with the customer.
