Fog lamp switch-on sequence
Function prerequisites:
- Rotary light switch (S1) in parking light or low beam position
- Rotary light switch pulled out to first catch position
- The position of the rotary light switch (S1) is read in by the left front SAM control module (N10/6) (1).
- The left SAM control module (N10/6) sends a signal (2) to the instrument cluster (A1) and the right front SAM control module (N10/7) via the data bus (CAN).
- The left front SAM control module (N10/6) switches on the left fog lamp (E1e4).
- The right front SAM control module (N10/7) switches on the right fog lamp (E2e4).
Function sequence for switching on rear fog lamp
Function prerequisites:
- Rotary light switch (S1) in parking light or low beam position
- Fog lamps switched on
- Rotary light switch pulled out to second catch position
- The position of the rotary light switch (S1) is read in by the left front SAM control module (N10/6) (1).
- The left front SAM control module (N10/6) sends a signal (3) to the instrument cluster (A1), the rear SAM control module (N10/8) and the trailer recognition control module (N28/1) via the data bus (CAN).
