	Removing
1	Disconnect ground cable of battery		AR54.10-P-0003I
2	Remove left headlamp unit	Model 215	AR82.10-P-4730N
		Model 220 except code (612b) Xenon headlamp unit	AR82.10-P-4730M
		Model 220 with code (612b) Xenon headlamp unit	AR82.10-P-4730MA
3	Unplug electrical connector from suction fan
4	Expose fan wiring harness branch-off line
5	Cut open insulation (fabric tape) for a length of approx. 450mm
6	Cut wire (red, 12 mm² ) in area (A)	Use cable shears to cut the wires.
7	Cut wire (black/violet, 0.5mm² ) and wire (yellow/blue, 0.5mm² ) in area (A)	Always cut the individual wires at the parting point to different lengths.
8	Cut ground lead (brown, 12mm² ) in area (A) and insulate
	Installing
9	Attach cable lug to wire (red, 12 mm² ) with shrink sleeve
10	Connect wire (black/violet, 0.5mm² ) and wire (yellow/blue, 0.5mm² ) with repair wiring harness	Use green cable connectors.	AR00.19-P-0100-09A
11	Fasten terminal point (1) to A/C pipe with two cable straps
12	Screw wire (red, 12 mm² ) and wire from repair wiring harness (red, 12 mm² ) onto terminal point (1)
13	Screw ground lead (brown, 12 mm² ) from repair wiring harness to ground point (W3/7, bottom left in wheelhousing)
14	Insulate all newly installed wires and cable connectors with fabric tape
15	Route fan repair wiring harness and connect to fan
16	Install left headlamp unit	Model 215	AR82.10-P-4730N
		Model 220 except code (612b) Xenon headlamp unit	AR82.10-P-4730M
		Model 220 with code (612b) Xenon headlamp unit	AR82.10-P-4730MA
17	Reconnect ground lead to battery		AR54.10-P-0003I
18	Read and erase fault memory	Stored faults which can result from cables being disconnected or from simulation during removal and installation or test work, have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work. Refer to: ↓ STAR DIAGNOSIS
19	Check function of fan
