Remove/install rear rubber bushing in rear axle mount - AR35.10-P-0040-03I

Remove rubber mount 

IMPORTANT Always replace both rear rubber mounts.

  1. Place extraction tool (01l, 01m, 01n) on rear axle carrier.
  2. Pull rubber mount (1b) out of rear axle carrier.

    Install rubber mount 

    IMPORTANT Pay attention to installation position. The arrow on the bottom of the rubber mount must point in the direction of travel.

    Two additional arrows on the top left and right of the rubber mount also point in the direction of travel.

  3. Grease rubber mount (1b) around circumference with lubricant.
  4. Place insertion tool (01o, 01p, 01r) on rear axle carrier.
  5. Push rubber mount (1b) into the rear axle carrier.

    IMPORTANT Insert rubber mount until rubber mount bead is lying against top of rear axle carrier (arrow).
